Chiggers are probably one of the most vile creatures in the world!!!! They are a little microscopic bug, that lays it's eggs inside of you, and then when the larvae hatch inside of you, they die, and release a horrible chemical that makes you have to itch really bad. My legs right now are covered in them!! I have many more now, than I do in these photos. Never go through the tall grass in Texas!!! Consider yourselves warned. But, they go away eventually, I have had mine for about 2 weeks, and sadly they are pretty much scarring because I am itching them so much. I even shaved my legs, below the calf, because I was sick of the clear goo it released when I itched, and it left mats in my leg hair, so I shaved that part of my legs, to relieve that feeling of uncomfort.
